Cool Cities

Since the start of industrial revolution, there has been some of the problem s associated with economic development in earth environment issues such as rises in population, traffic delay, increasing in energy consumption and increasing in carbon dioxide. If we don’t solve these problems, we will need another earth to replace our own. To live within the capacity of a single earth, we have to decrease the amount of carbon dioxide which is emitted to the air up to fifty present. In Japan during the last thirty years the Gross Domestic Product has gone up hundred percent while energy efficiency has increase thirty seven percent and oil consumption has decrease eight percent. Ninety percent of carbon dioxide emitted into the air comes from building and transportation. A cool city is a city which can reduce carbon dioxide emission by sixty percent as well as provide with enjoyable life style. SDCJ is the name of the company which is building it and it located in Japan. There are three type of transportation are used in this city are monerall, hybrid and light rapid transitte. The various zones in the city are business culture and green. Water, trees and membrane are the techniques that used to reduce the heat. The CO2 expected reduction for two type of building is 80%. Also the overall percentage of reduction of CO2 emission in the video is 60%.
